The Sr. Manager, Product Marketing, leads a global team of product marketing professionals overseeing a portfolio of technology products in the Estimating/Take-off and Asset Lifecycle Management technology categories. The Senior Manager, Product Marketing will own the processes of obtaining customer/market insights, developing go-to-market strategies, defining pricing/packaging, defining positioning/messaging, and delivering sales enablement content.
Teamed with sales, marketing, and product management leadership, the Sr. Manager, Product Marketing will drive the growth objectives for their portfolio, helping position Trimble’s industry-leading solutions that are tailored to meet facility/asset owners, general contractors, civil contractors, and MEP contractors' requirements. Key performance outcomes include meeting bookings targets, increasing market share, maximizing share of wallet, penetrating new geographies, and net revenue retention. As a highly visible leader helping to develop the go-to-market strategy, the Market Manager will have an uncommon combination of industry credibility, business acumen, sales presence, and strategy skills.
This position reports directly to the Vice President of Industry Strategy & Portfolio Marketing. The Market Manager works on cross-functional teams with sector leadership, General Managers, Sales Leaders, Product Managers, and others to implement and execute the multi-year strategy for the market segment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire, and manage the performance of a global team of product marketing professionals who specialize in Asset Lifecycle Management and Estimating/Take-off technologies.
- Innovate the practice of product marketing with cutting-edge artificial intelligence to deliver customer and market insights valuable to sales, marketing, and product management.
- Deliver breakthrough go-to-market plans informing sales strategies and global marketing campaigns that exceed bookings targets and maintain a high CAGR.
- Discover and prioritize market problems that can be solved through Trimble technology solutions in both Estimating/Take-off (for contractors) and Asset Lifecycle Management (for owners) within the AECO segment of Trimble.
- Be the expert on the customer buying process by documenting buyer personas derived from primary research, interviews, and site visits.
- Lead competitive intelligence requirements for their product portfolio and deliver actionable insights from win/loss analysis, competitive landscape, and delivery of battlecards.
- Serve as a thought leader in the market segment by regularly writing and speaking at important industry events.
- Lead the “ready to sell” motions of the product launch process by enabling the sales and marketing team.
Qualifications
- Management experience in Product Marketing for a B2B SaaS technology company.
- Positive and inspirational management presence capable of rapid change and context switching between products.
- Demonstrable innovation with artificial intelligence improving team productivity.
- Impeccable interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in an industry field such as Architectural Design, Engineering, Construction Management, or Marketing/Business. An MBA is preferred.
- 10+ years of working experience for fast-paced technology companies. Working experience with technologies for the built environment is a plus.
- Certification with Product Marketing Alliance, Pragmatic Marketing, Silicon Valley Product Group, or other frameworks is a plus.
- Ability to travel frequently to engage global teams, VOC collection, and deliver thought leadership.

Compensation: Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
