  • Develop an annual marketing channel plan for regional footwear partners to increase product visibility and consumer engagement.
  • Plan and execute regional community events that deliver high-impact brand visibility.
  • Manage event logistics, vendor relationships, local event budgets, and post-event reporting.
  • Travel to national and regional events, supporting brand activations and retail trainings.

Retail & Brand Engagement

  • Lead retail training sessions, brand clinics, and consumer events to build Vibram brand awareness.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, educating consumers, retailers, and partners on Vibram products, technologies, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Partner with retail accounts to support in-store promotions, merchandising, and activation plans that drive sell-through.
  • Monitor the regional retail landscape, providing regular market insights to the broader marketing team.
  • Execute merchandising strategies and manage point-of-purchase materials at retail locations.

Event Programming

  • Plan and manage events, trainings, partner visits, and workshops in Boston office.
  • Oversee the local events calendar and communicate updates to internal teams.
  • Engage with Boston’s creative community and local footwear professionals by attending networking events and building partnerships.
  • Collaborate with local organizations to co-create innovative programs that foster brand connection.
  • Work closely with the internal marketing team to promote events via social media, email, and print materials.

What to Expect

  • Hybrid work environment: 2–3 days onsite, 1–2 days remote (subject to change).
  • Frequent local travel within the Northeast, with occasional national travel (up to 30%).
  • Evening and weekend event work as needed.
  • Must be able to lift and move items up to 40 lbs during event setups.
  • Collaborative cross-functional work with the sales team, brand partners, vendors, and retail partners.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in retail, event planning, or marketing, preferably in the footwear industry. Outdoor industry experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • May require participation in physical activities such as hiking or trail running, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills with a training-oriented mindset.
  • Passion for community engagement and creating memorable brand experiences.
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic project management tools.
