Job Summary
The Vice President of Sales and Marketing oversees strategic sales, marketing, revenue management, and reservations efforts across Black Desert Resort and Red Mountain Resort. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth, maximizing market share, and enhancing brand recognition across multiple properties and villages. The VP collaborates with stakeholders to develop cohesive strategies, lead high-performing teams, and ensure alignment with business objectives. This role also bridges communication between operational teams, the management company, and ownership entities.

Shift & Schedule: Year-Round / Full Time
Pay Range: $180,000 - $220,000 plus bonus potential. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Job Responsibilities But Not Limited To
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and market share for Black Desert Resort and Red Mountain Resort.
- Oversee and mentor leaders in Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, and Reservations, fostering alignment with company goals.
- Analyze market trends, competitive data, and customer insights to recommend and implement strategic initiatives.
- Define and maintain brand standards, ensuring cohesive representation across all marketing channels and properties.
- Train and develop key leaders and teams to enhance performance and achieve financial targets.
- Lead brand positioning efforts through advertising, public relations, and digital marketing campaigns.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate clients, travel agencies, and tour operators.
- Serve as the communications representative for sales, marketing, revenue management, and reservations between operations, management, and ownership entities.
- Collaborate with revenue management and operations teams to optimize pricing, packages, and promotions to maximize profitability.
- Design and oversee strategic media planning and budgeting for all revenue-producing outlets.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, revenue metrics, and campaign success, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Stay informed on industry trends, technologies, and best practices, integrating them into strategies for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sales, marketing, and revenue management within the luxury hospitality or resort industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful strategies with measurable revenue growth.
- Expertise in brand positioning, media planning, and strategic marketing campaigns.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and inspire diverse teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between multiple stakeholders.
Compensation Range
The compensation for this position is $180,000.00/Yr. - $220,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
