We are hiring a Digital Marketing Assistant to work alongside our social media team, serving as a key communicator of the voices of both Mega Mega and our clients by leveraging digital marketing tools and developing branded content. The Digital Marketing Assistant is a highly motivated, experienced individual with a passion for organization, paid and organic social media strategy, email marketing, SMS, and graphic design. They will work closely with our social team from start to finish on strategy, content, copy, photography, analytics, design & video for multiple clients — and support Mega Mega plus our PR and Sales teams — at one time. This is a hands-on role with a hybrid WFH/in-office schedule.
This is an entry level position for someone looking to grow their career in digital marketing and social media in the fashion/jewelry industry. Ideal candidate has a BA/BS in digital marketing, advertising, PR, journalism, or similar degree and internship experience managing Social Media for a brand or agency.
Responsibilities Include:
- Help social media team develop, manage, and analyze client Social Media strategies, including, but not limited to, organic social, paid advertising, email marketing and affiliate marketing + management
- Own reporting and actively monitor account performance + provide monthly reporting on key social metrics to our social media team and clients
- Create clean, aesthetic and conversion-focused content on a daily basis for social media clients on IG Stories
- Support social media team in company marketing initiatives, such as the Mega Mega Incubator, Social Media Boot Camps, Brand Audits, and Client Proposals.
- Support PR and Sales teams in graphic design requests and requirements for clients, Sales Market, and Press Preview
- Support social media team in content creation at our Soho showroom and various locations in NYC
- Help the social media team develop and pivot unique content strategies for individual brands, setting clear objectives and pathways to success
- Maintain and manage content calendars for all marketing clients
- Monitor trends in Social Media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy
- Research designers and recruit new business for Social Media services
- Maintain and expand online community + influencer outreach efforts, both to expand designer reach via influencer relationships and for IRL events hosted by Mega Mega or our brands.
Requirements Include:
- Candidate must have internship experience in Social Media management and/or marketing
- Experience managing multiple projects and conceptualizing creative strategies, executing them from start to finish.
- Attention to detail and consistent follow through
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work on tight deadlines
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects at once, both for Mega Mega and our clients
- Highly self-motivated, willing to take initiative
Location: Soho, New York, NY
Salary: $40K - $45K
