We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Lead Social Media Manager to spearhead our social media efforts, focusing on engagement, growth, and brand elevation. This individual will be responsible for developing a comprehensive strategy to build a strong, premium social media presence while managing a small team of content creators. The ideal candidate has experience working in consumer packaged goods (CPG) and can effectively drive cross-functional collaboration with PR, Brand Marketing and influencer marketing teams to create integrated campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:
Engagement & Growth:
- Develop and execute social media strategies that will increase follower count and engagement rates by double digits within the first year.
- Continuously monitor social media metrics and optimize strategies to achieve growth goals.
Content Calendar Development:
- Develop, design and maintain social media content calendar, identifying when to make changes based on company priorities..
- Ensure content aligns with overall brand strategy and elevates the brand’s perception to a premium level.
Team Management:
- Lead and manage the social media team, including a content creator and intern(s), to ensure the timely creation of high-quality content.
- Mentor and provide feedback to team members to help them grow in their roles.
Strategy & Community Building:
- Build a strong and engaged community by developing and implementing a community-building strategy.
- Elevate the brand’s presence and influence within the social media space, aligning with the company's overall goals.
- Ensure all content aligns with the brand’s tone, voice, and premium positioning.
- Proactively provide feedback and opportunities on how to elevate the brand’s positioning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with the PR, Brand Marketing and influencer marketing teams to develop integrated campaigns that enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Work alongside creative and marketing teams to ensure all social content aligns with broader marketing objectives.
Creative & Analytical Blend:
- Bring a strong creative eye while using data-driven insights to guide content strategy and drive performance.
- Track and report on KPIs, using data to inform future content and strategy decisions.
Platform Expertise:
- Manage and oversee content creation, posting, and engagement across multiple social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Stay updated on platform trends and best practices to ensure content remains relevant and effective.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 5+ years of total experience in social media management, with at least 3 years of experience managing social media for a CPG company.
- Proven experience managing direct report(s)
- Expertise in developing cross-functional relationships and working with PR, Brand Marketing and Influencer Marketing teams to create integrated campaigns.
- Blend of creative and analytical skills; able to craft engaging content and interpret performance data.
- Hands-on experience managing content and campaigns on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Ability to create engaging user-generated content (UGC) and incorporate it into social strategies.
- Experience working for a business with at least $10M in revenue.

Salary $130,000
