We are seeking a driven and experienced Vice President of Development & Marketing to spearhead our fundraising and marketing strategies. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the CEO to formulate and implement a fundraising strategy that aligns with the organization's objectives.
- Work in partnership with the Board of Directors to monitor fundraising progress and achieve strategic targets.
- Lead initiatives to secure major donations, corporate partnerships, government contracts, and private grants.
- Oversee all fundraising activities, including events, campaigns, and donor engagement efforts.
- Strengthen connections with key donors to enhance their involvement and contributions.
- Drive public awareness and visibility of the organization, reinforcing our reputation as a community leader.
- Represent the organization at community events and public speaking engagements to promote our mission.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in fundraising strategies, including major gifts and corporate sponsorships.
- Exceptional relationship-building and networking abilities.
- Strong experience in event planning and management.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills.
- Familiarity with fundraising technologies, including CRM systems.
- Demonstrated capability to inspire and lead high-performing teams.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree is required; a graduate degree is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, event planning, and management with a successful track record of raising \(500K - \)1M+.
- Established relationships in the local community, particularly in California.
