SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
Overview:
As a Social Media Manager at VITALITY, you will play a crucial role in elevating our brand presence across social media platforms and engaging with our community. This position requires a creative thinker who is passionate about athleisure and has a deep understanding of social media, content creation, and video editing. You will work closely with the creative and marketing teams to develop and execute social media strategies that align with our brand’s mission and goals.
Location: Preferably Southern California (LA, OC, Newport area) Based
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement social media content strategies to increase brand awareness and content engagement.
- Curate engaging content (images, videos, and copy) for various social media platforms, including Instagram and TikTok.
- Attend brand photo shoots to shoot and edit footage
- Monitor social media trends and analyze performance metrics to optimize strategies.
- Collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors to expand reach and promote campaigns
- Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns.
- Coordinate social media calendars and ensure timely posting of content.
- Support the marketing team with other tasks as needed, including photo shoot production, event coordination and promotional activities.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a vibrant online community.
Key Skills Needed:
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with a knack for visual storytelling.
- Excellent UGC-style video content creation skills
- Excellent proficiency in video editing apps (e.g., CapCut, VideoLeap, PremierPro, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Planoly).
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in social media management or marketing, preferably in the fashion or athleisure industry.
- Proven track record of growing social media accounts and driving engagement.
- Passion for fitness, wellness, and athleisure culture.
