The Director of Marketing is currently an exempt, full-time position reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer. The primary responsibilities of the role are to provide leadership and oversight for USA Pickleball’s internal and external brand marketing campaigns and the development and execution of 360-marketing strategy. This role will have a significant focus on brand awareness growth, and creative brand integration through all owned business units within USA Pickleball.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the organizations brand marketing efforts on a national level focused on cohesive look and feel throughout all owned, shared and paid assets.
- Serve as organization point of contact for agency of record, focused on brand growth through digital campaigns and storytelling of national events.
- Manage day-to-day communications with agency of record, overseeing daily/weekly performance metrics for paid media campaigns.
- Oversee the organizations brand guidelines, delivering cohesive brand projects throughout all USA Pickleball programs and events.
- Oversee creative manager and work collaboratively to grow and build our brand presence within the pickleball community.
- Leverage data (CRM) and analytics to help drive strategic marketing decisions.
- Collaborate with membership team to support and drive membership growth and retention through targeted comprehensive marketing and optimized customer journeys.
- Analyze membership data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in recruitment and retention efforts.
- Monitor the performance of marketing campaigns, utilizing analytics to track effectiveness, engagement, and hit KPIs.
- Manage the organizations website in partnership with outside agency.
- Lead upcoming website analysis, redesign and optimization with SEO and UX in mind.
- Monitor digital metrics to guide strategy and best practices.
- Oversee the design and promotion of online and on-site USA Pickleball merchandise in collaboration with vendors, ensuring cohesive branding, seasonal updates, and targeted campaigns to drive member engagement and revenue growth.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business
- 5-7 years of experience in Marketing
- Experience leading or executing creative brand positioning
- Sound understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools with a knack for data analysis
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Familiarity with membership growth strategies a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Team-oriented with excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with NGBs or member-based organization a plus
