JOB SUMMARY:
The Coordinator, Corporate Communications will support the overall operation and priorities of the Universal Destinations & Experiences (UDX) Corporate Communications team, including external communications programs and projects. This includes administrative and operational support, execution of plans and initiatives, monitoring, tracking and reporting coverage, maintaining databases, planning documents, distribution lists, social media and editorial calendars, and more. The Coordinator will also help find, create and tell compelling corporate-level stories and support content development that promotes and enhances the UDX brand.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the development and execution of Corporate Communications initiatives, including strategic planning and support of tactics across a variety of topics – inclusive of new products and content, community impact, government relations, diversity, equity and inclusion, sustainability, transportation, affordable housing, new ventures and other corporate initiatives.
- Support planning and development for cross-functional corporate storytelling, inclusive of content creation: video, photo, digital and written in support of UDX’s Corporate Communications programming.
- Assist team with administrative support including distribution of internal and external communications; ongoing management of UDX Corporate Communications website; scheduling meetings; licensed content review submissions; email inbox monitoring; managing distribution lists; and more.
- Assist with research needs, and tracking and monitoring media coverage, including real-time updates related to UDX, its competitors or industry-related issues.
- Work with cross-departmental, external, and global teams to coordinate and organize reporting, information, and asset exchange between destinations.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Media or Business is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 1+ years of related experience is preferred; interest in the Communications field is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
