Be part of a collaborative and mission-driven team at Hively! We are seeking a skilled Marketing and Communications Specialist to partner with our Communications Manager and program teams to enhance our brand presence and expand our reach. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to integrated marketing campaigns, create compelling content, and manage our CRM system to support our work with families and communities in Alameda County.
What you will do:
- Execute integrated marketing communications strategy in collaboration with team members
- Manage our website. Stay on top of SEO best practices
- Content creation in written and video formats
- Manage our CRM to track donor interactions, segment audiences for targeted campaigns, and analyze marketing campaign performance
- Work cross-functionally with programming teams to increase brand awareness and visibility, events and partnerships
- Partner closely with Communications Manager to elevate presence in social media channels
- Act as a creativity agent with internal and external stakeholders, providing ideas and solutions to communications and marketing needs and opportunities
- Manage, Execute and support department’s projects and organizational initiatives with an eye on impact, results, learning and growth
- Explore ways to leverage AI for content creation, social media scheduling, and data analysis
- Local events assistance in Alameda County as needed
What you should bring:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field
- Mission-driven marketer
- Love for both data and storytelling
- Outstanding writing, speaking and relationship building skills
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, social media strategy and execution and media outreach
- Basic knowledge of WordPress, Square or similar content management platforms
- Knowledge of CRMs (HubSpot, Constant Contact) and social media content management platforms
- Knowledgeable in content marketing willing to experiment, try new ideas out to connect and engage with different audiences
- Experience working with underserved and underrepresented communities
- Bilingual in English and at least one of the following languages: Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu or Farsi. Able to write, read and speak both languages fluently
