JOB TITLE: Partnerships Intern

Compensation: $16.50/ hour, part-time (up to 30 hours a week)
Position Overview
The NYCFC Partnerships Intern will support the Partnerships Team by assisting with the management of a growing portfolio of brands associated with New York City FC and City Football Group in the US region. The internship will provide opportunities to take ownership of short-term projects and support in daily activities including campaign development, marketing initiatives, sales prospecting, valuation reporting and rights delivery.
The areas of concentration include but are not limited to: idea generation, sales prospecting, Partnership Marketing deck creation, asset packaging, inventory tracking, event planning and execution, digital marketing, youth soccer programs, and competitor and business development research. This internship program will run from mid February to November 2025.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in day-to-day management of the NYCFC roster of corporate partners
- Assist in the planning and execution of internal and external Club events
- Conduct detailed research for the Partnership Sales team that includes new prospect info and brand activation details across competitors
- Prepare meeting prep documents that include company profiles, key contact bios, etc.
- Ideate and create turnkey go-to market sales strategies for prospects and business objectives
- Thrive in a fast-paced, open environment
What You’ll Bring
- Sound knowledge of the global and United States soccer landscape
- Familiarity with the elements of integrated marketing campaigns
- Above average knowledge of Microsoft programs, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
- Flexible and comfortable in a fast-paced working environment
- Self-sufficient and proactive Broad commercial acumen
- Excellent communication skills
- Well organized with consistent attention to detail
