What We Are Looking For
Little Spoon is searching for an organized and enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to our Brand Marketing Manager, this role will be responsible for administrative support for the marketing team as well as assisting across a variety of initiatives such as social media, brand partnerships, copywriting, press engagements, influencer relationships and more with a passion for brand storytelling in the kid’s food space.
What You’ll Do
Team Admin + Coordination [75%]
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks to keep team on track i.e. coordinating social giveaway prizes, sample orders for press/influencers/partners, creative tracking, blog content and newsletters
- Act as project lead for Is This Normal blog by keeping site up to date, maintaining content tracker, sourcing/briefing writers, lead internal brainstorms and own end-to-end
- Participate in and help execute a range of local + digital events including invitation management, planning, scheduling, engaging with our community, capturing content and aiding in the set up / breakdown for sampling opportunities
- Schedule and coordinate logistics for internal and external meetings
- Strategically source organic influencers, content creators and brand partners
- Manage marketing calendars and project trackers
- Generate weekly and monthly marketing reports highlighting key metrics, takeaways, and include optimization recommendations for future campaigns
Creative Projects [25%]
- Own Is This Normal blog by writing and publishing blog posts and newsletters, briefing partners and community experts for content, optimizing SEO and executing in WordPress
- Own Is This Normal Facebook group by managing content calendar, writing and scheduling posts, and coordinating digital events
- Identify, build and foster relationships for brand, social, community, and wholesale partnerships
- Develop creative project briefs for cross-channel initiatives such as email, social media and brand marketing materials
- Work closely with graphic design team and Brand Manager to coordinate product photoshoots and assist on set and post-production as needed
You Have
- 1-2 years of marketing experience in a fast paced startup environment
- The ability to multitask and easily switch between projects
- Excellent time and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong writing skills and communication skills, working with internal and external stakeholders to keep them accountable
- A can-do attitude
- A work-hard, play-hard mindset
