SummaryAs our Content Marketing Manager & Writer, you have a proven track record as a strategic B2B marketing professional who drives key business through strategic campaigns and content development.
In this role, you’ll put your writing skills to work turning data-driven insights into successful marketing content -- all while meeting the highest writing standards and optimizing for SEO. You’re a storyteller at heart, but one who understands the revenue impact of your efforts. You’ll merge complex data and consumer insights with creative best practices to write a variety of content pieces from blog posts to eBooks to website pages. You’ll build strong relationships interdepartmentally to manage an ever-evolving strategic content calendar and adapt to shifting priorities.Most importantly, you will help us fill all stages of our sales funnel with strategic content and campaigns that are high-performing lead magnets.
To be successful in this role, you’ll move Geonetric forward by collaborating with internal business development, product and project teams, marketing externally to healthcare audiences, and increasing Geonetric’s brand awareness and sales pipeline.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesWhile you might get to work on just about anything at Geonetric, you’ll primarily:
- Collaborate with the Marketing Director to develop strategic marketing campaigns to generate leads for our sales team, increase brand awareness, and position Geonetric as a thought-leader in the digital healthcare space
- Define and implement Geonetric’s content strategy, aligning it with Geonetric’s vision and product strategy, and create and manage a content calendar that continually serves new information to our market
- Produce high-performing assets that accelerate all parts of the sales funnel for our products and services
- Translate complex software, digital experience, and technical jargon into meaningful, relatable copy that creates an urgency to act
- Collaborate with our internal thought leaders to transfer their knowledge into content marketing pieces
- Develop a variety of content, including blog posts, website copy, email campaigns, eBooks, sales product literature, speaking abstracts and case studies
- Work across teams to identify and solve problems and ensure accurate, up-to-date, and thorough content
- Strengthen the Geonetric brand and solidify our positioning on the leading edge of digital experience strategy in the healthcare vertical
- Project manage a variety of diverse marketing projects, ensuring forward progression on quality work under tight deadlines
Education and Experience- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field
- 5+ years of previous experience in related field required
Professional Skills- Experience writing content for B2B SaaS preferred
- Experience with copywriting, content marketing, and sales enablement preferred
- Experience with content management and SEO techniques preferred
- In-depth experience with website platforms, CMSs, and DXPs preferred
- Experience in an agency setting preferred
- Proficiency in Google Analytics preferred
- Web experience preferred (site development, web applications, digital services)
