Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Marketing Director to oversee our client's marketing operations, which include developing and implementing strategies to strengthen the company's brand market presence and help the business thrive in a fast-paced environment.
A successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with an eye for product and campaign development, with a deep understanding of retail marketing and the capacity to interact with multiple stores. The Marketing Director will be responsible for expanding the company's visibility in the North American market and contributes to its growth. In the early stages of the role, the Marketing Director will work with a small team, with the expectation to grow and manage the team as the company expands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the marketing department and improve the existing marketing strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with global counterpart, including the planning and execution of campaigns around seasonal designs.
- Implement strategies to further develop brand in the retail sector.
- Drive traffic and position the company's social media presence.
- Play an active role in product development, in alignment with market trends and the brand's vision.
- Command a crucial role in corporate decision-making processes.
- Build and manage a high-performing marketing team as the company grows.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience in store-based retail marketing, preferably in a premium consumable product industry.
- A strong background in product development and social campaign design.
- Demonstrated experience with brick and mortar retail channels.
- Ability to collaborate and execute simultaneously on product and marketing strategies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of market analysis.
- Flexibility in working with an international team.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
