Ideal Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree related to publication relations, social media or digital marketing, or similar field
- Minimum of 4 years experience.
- Professional experience with all social media platforms (LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Business and Ads Manager, Google My Business, X).
- Experience in platform and system optimization of all Social Media platforms + Hootsuite.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy and Implementation
- Lead Strategy and implementation of Social Media Strategy for Active Clients
- Develop and Manage Social Media Calendars for Active Clients
- Manage portfolio of 15-20 Active Social Media Clients
- Sits in on meetings with the Event Planner, Managing Partners, and current clients to accurately gauge the social media needs of each client.
- Holds responsibility of and ensures any information posted on the behalf of Grayson Sky or a client is appropriate.
- Uses problem solving skills when observing decisions and consults managing partners when situations can negatively escalate or there are liability issues.
- Conducts an analysis of department functions and helps delegate the social media tasks.
Recruitment and Team Management
- Lead recruitment efforts for a growing Grayson Sky’s Social Media team.
- Conducts interviews of Social Media positions and leads onboarding process for new Social Media hires.
- Update Managing Partners on the status of the interns and ensure managing partners have all necessary updates.
- Conducts an analysis of department functions and helps delegate the social media tasks.
Internal Communication
- Report progress and work functions to Managing Partners.
- Communicate with the project manager and managing partners to ensure they are posting accurate and relevant content.
External Communication
- Present Social Media Strategy and content calendar to clients
- Conduct weekly/biweekly meetings with clients with open lines of communication to convey updates, timelines, and blockers.
- Communicate with clients to ensure the social media team knows what relevant content to post in order to effectively engage followers.
- Collaborate with clients to ensure they create accurate pages for upcoming events.
