Job Description:
The Marketing Operations Specialist will play a critical role in supporting our team by managing a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth operation of our business efforts. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. The Marketing Operations Specialist will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects and gain hands-on experience in multiple facets of marketing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Marketing
Digital Marketing Postings and Campaigns:
- Create and schedule digital marketing content across various platforms.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of digital campaigns.
Website Updates:
- Manage and update website content to ensure it is current and engaging.
Marketing Collateral:
- Creating and maintaining Marketing Collateral.
- Adapt and repurpose existing content for use across different platforms and formats.
PowerPoint Creation:
- Develop engaging and professional PowerPoint presentations for internal and external use.
Proposal Creation:
- Assist in the preparation of proposals for potential clients and partners.
Newsletters:
- Create and distribute newsletters; measure effectiveness and adapt.
Awards/Nomination Creation:
- Maintain awards calendar; prepare submissions for industry awards and recognitions.
Event and Sponsorship Management:
- Assist in organizing and managing events and sponsorship activities.
Survey Development:
- Create and distribute surveys to gather feedback and insights.
2. Administrative
Contract Management:
- Handle the administration of contracts with clients, vendors and partners.
- Ensure all contracts are up-to-date and compliant.
Working with Vendor Partners:
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of services and products.
Document Management:
- Organize company documents and collateral; maintain updates on progress.
- Assistance with on-boarding new team members.
Managing Budgets:
- Assist in managing budgets, ensuring funds are allocated effectively.
- Track and report on budget expenditures.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Generate reports on marketing activities and performance.
- Conduct analysis to support decision-making and strategy development.
Scheduling:
- Manage schedules for projects and team activities.
Promotional Gifts:
- Research and coordinate various gifts for clients, team, etc.
Various Administrative Tasks:
- Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the team as required.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing operations, client support or a related role preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint).
- Familiarity with marketing, social media and web platforms such as Squarespace, Canva, Social Pilot, Active Campaign, LinkedIn, Survey Monkey, or similar tools.
- Strong initiative and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a process-oriented mindset.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn and adapt to various technology platforms.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of a variety of social media platforms with an understanding of current digital marketing trends.
