Social Media Manager
This is a very interesting position working for two amazing agencies!
We are seeking a full-time Social Media Manager that will work for Redroc Austin, a full-service advertising agency with a variety of client categories, including entertainment, events, hospitality, liquor, home improvement, healthcare and medical research, among others. This position will also be working for our sister-agency, FearWorm, the first and largest full-service marketing agency for the haunted attraction industry. FearWorm works with haunted houses, trails, mazes, family farms, seasonal attractions and other holiday events and entertainment venues throughout the U.S.
As a full-time Social Media Manager, you’ll be working with the creative and social teams to brainstorm, create, design and manage social media campaigns. You will be coming up with ideas and campaigns, designing posts, editing video and writing copy for a variety of brands and business categories. On the FearWorm side, you’ll be very busy for about half the year working with the world’s best haunted attractions. On the Redroc side, you’ll be working with consumer events, trade shows, retail accounts, restaurants and more. We have two teams that work together with some specialists for FearWorm or Redroc and other cross-agency employees.
This position will also work with our Email Marketing Manager to write, create a manage email marketing campaigns.
We’re looking for an outgoing individual who is comfortable with client interaction. You must be organized, motivated, and have high standards for your own work. You must also be able to wear a lot of hats and able to switch brand voices easily. Experience in the entertainment and events categories is required.

Job Duties:
• Ideation for social campaigns, posts and creative
• Copywriting for social media
• Graphic design and video editing for social posts
• Building content calendars. Presenting to staff and clients.
• Creating and managing social platforms in Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, Linkedin, YouTube
• Community management
• Engaging with audiences
Candidate Needs:
• Deep understanding, interest and awareness of social media and trends
• Real world experience in the entertainment and events fields
• Experience working in a multi-brand environment
This position is being presented as either a hybrid position for candidates located in Austin, TX, or available as a remote position if we find the perfect candidate out of town.
