Job: Social Media Manager

GLOW is an award winning creative and social media agency based in New York City. For 25 years GLOW has helped the world’s leading brands build the community, content, and connections that fuels fandom for clients like Jägermeister, The Roku Channel, Spotify, NBA, World of Hyatt, and more.
Now we’re on the hunt for our next social media manager to join our team who will act as the fan-in-chief for our communities. This person will work on a variety of television and brand clients.
Responsibilities:
Management of the editorial calendar: You will manage the editorial calendar and publishing of content across social media platforms
Analysis & Reporting: You’ll audit social media performance and craft relevant findings
Create documents and reports: You’ll be responsible for creating weekly social media documents of things like sentiment reports, recaps, and talent packs
Pitching and present ideas: You are a comfortable presenter for internal and external stakeholders
Identifying social media trends and insights to inform social briefs
Write whip-smart POVs about social media trends for the agency and industry at large
Requirements:
Approximately 1-3 years of experience in social media marketing or agency setting
Brainstorming with enthusiasm: You are a fountain of ideas, whether it’s coming to brainstorms with off-the-wall ideas or building on others’ thinking
Fueled by the Feed: You are immersed in the social feeds and fandoms that fuel them that you bring to the work
Knowledge and mastery of social media publishing tools
Whip smart writing skills and can create client-ready documents
