Berry Companies, Inc. in Wichita, KS is an administrative support group that provides IT, accounting, data processing, payroll, insurance, marketing and financial services to each of its operating divisions. Our nine divisions are engaged in the distribution of Bobcat®, Komatsu®, Hyster® & Yale® construction or material handling equipment.
Berry Companies is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead the marketing efforts for our company and its family of divisions. This role focuses on building strong relationships with each division to ensure cohesive and effective marketing strategies. Additionally, this role involves project managing marketing tasks to deliver high-quality marketing materials to the divisions quickly and efficiently. The Marketing Manager will create a unified brand experience that enhances our overall image.
Responsibilities - Division Relations
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with divisions of Berry Companies to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
- Act as a liaison to facilitate the exchange of information, coordinate cross-functional projects, and align departmental goals with overall company objectives.
- Promote a cohesive work environment by addressing interdepartmental issues, providing support, and encouraging teamwork to achieve shared success.
- Oversee Marketing Material Production:
- Supervise the production, approval, and distribution of all marketing materials, including managing outsourcing when necessary.
- Deliver high-quality marketing materials to the divisions quickly and efficiently.
- Supervise Marketing Team:
- Lead the team in producing marketing and advertising materials for various projects and campaigns.
- Ensure the team adheres to creative processes and utilizes the project management system effectively.
- Resource Allocation and Vendor Management:
- Collaborate daily with the Marketing team to track creative capacity and allocate resources efficiently.
- Manage vendor relations for outsourced work when needed.
- Project Management and Training:
- Be an expert in our creative processes and project management system.
- Train and inspire team members to adopt and excel in these systems.
- Monitor Marketing Performance:
- Track and manage key marketing metrics to evaluate campaign performance and overall department effectiveness.
- Content Coordination and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to brand guidelines for all developed content before publishing.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Expertise in project management systems (Microsoft Project, ClickUp, Monday, etc.) and creative processes.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proven experience in developing and executing marketing strategies, managing projects, and fostering interdepartmental relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and allocate resources efficiently.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify and correct grammar, spelling, formatting, and punctuation.
- 5+ Years relevant industry experience in marketing or a related field or Marketing related degree is preferred.
- Knowledge of MS365 Office Suite (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel).
