WAYS YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
As an SEO Analyst at Direct Agents, you will be a key driver in the success of our clients' search engine optimization strategies. Your analytical and innovative mindset, alongside your passion for continuous learning, will be key in contributing to our agency's ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities
- SEO Strategy Development and Execution |Assess and formulate effective SEO strategies for diverse mid to large sized clients, serving as the resident SEO expert for internal and external teams.Oversee a portfolio of SEO clients and serve as a dependablepoint of contact for assigned accounts.
- Technical SEO and Optimization |Conduct comprehensive SEO audits and facilitate successful migrations.Hands-on management of optimization projects to enhance clients' organic rankings through on-site and off-site strategies and recommendations.
- Content and On-Page Optimization |Collaborate on content creation and planning to improve website rankings.Perform on-page optimizations to enhance user experience and search visibility.
- Link Building and Off-Site Strategies |Develop and execute effective link-building initiatives to strengthen clients' online presence.Implement off-site optimization techniques to boost search rankings.
- Reporting and Analytics |Hold regular client status calls and generate comprehensive campaign reports.Analyze data using Google Analytics and ranking reports to measure the success of SEO strategies.
- Client Management and Expectation Setting |Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and exceed client expectations.Collaborate with sales to conduct audits and devise tailored strategies for potential clients, enhancing pitch materials and sales decks.
- Continuous Improvement and Development |Contribute to the evolution of processes, reports, knowledge base, and communication practices.Stay updated on the latest SEO platforms, tools, and industry trends.
Team Collaboration and Leadership |As a Senior SEO Analyst, you will assist in the training, development, and management of future SEO team members. Participate in overall SEO strategy formulation and adaptation based on the latest search engine updates.
WHAT YOU'RE BRINGING
- 3+ years of experience in SEO with proven track record, preferably with an agency
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Engineering, Finance, or Math
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and updates
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience utilizing SEO tools, Google Analytics, Adwords, Search Console, BrightEdge, Moz, ScreamingFrog, SEMRush, etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical & problem solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask and manage time efficiently
- Self-starter approach to work, with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility
- Good understanding of HTML, website design, and web analytics. CSS and Javascript a plus
- Ability to work in teams and/or individually to meet client goals
- Amazon Experience a plus
- Passion for the world of SEO!

- A competitive salary of $70,000 - $85,000with reviews based on performance
- Regular performance reviews occur at 1, 3, 6, 11 month marks during onboarding and biannually after that.

This role is based in our NYC office and you must reside or be willing to relocate within commuting distance of the office for this role.
