SPARK is looking for a next-big-thing-chasing Creative Director (Art & Design) to join the team. Our Creative Directors lead multiple brands and teams through the jungle of marketing and ad campaigns. They can define a vision, love to dive in to help execute it all while teaching team members how to do it, too. With high expectations, they challenge us (and our clients) to pursue exciting opportunities.
The Role:
Strategy
- Collaborate with other departments and clients inspire and shape the strategy.

- Lead and educate teams to creative solutions that equally integrate visual elements and verbal elements.

- Inspire fully integrated creative solutions that lead to effective short-term conceptual campaigns and long-term results.

- Lead the way to high expectations.
- Challenge teams and clients to pursue exciting creative opportunities that solve business problems.
Execution
- Collaborate across departments to ensure and enhance agency process that results in execution efficiency and high standard.
Presentation
- Facilitates internal and external collaboration and is a champion of elevating ideas. Leads client presentations to effective outcomes.
Client Influence
- Leveraging client relationship to achieve improved creative outcomes and success.
Team Development
- Ensure creative excellence through balance of great creative and financial gain for all accounts.
- Lead/Manage growth of 4-5 direct reports within the creative team.
Agency Trajectory
- Providing solutions that go beyond the creative team and help agency-wide growth.
Experience and Soft Skills
- 8+ years experience in a similar role at an in-house, brand or advertising agency
- Award-winning portfolio with Regional and National clients in a variety of media including TV, OOH, and digital and brand experiences.
- Compelling presentation skills and comfort with new business pitches
- Experience with managing creative teams, mentoring rising stars and comfortable giving creative feedback
- Solutions oriented thinker, excited by the opportunity to set the course for the Creative team
- Not afraid to jump in, no matter the level of skill required
- Mastery of execution of seamless creative solutions.
- Inspires and educates both visual and verbal creative principles.
- Mastery of typography, photography, design and art direction
- Adobe Creative Cloud ( AI, ID, PS )
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or similar
