Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Marketing Retention Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retention marketing, a proven ability to develop and implement effective retention strategies, and a passion for enhancing the customer experience. This role offers the potential to grow into a Head of Retention position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive retention marketing strategies to increase customer loyalty and lifetime value
- Manage and optimize email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, personalization, and automation
- Implement and manage SMS marketing campaigns to engage and retain customers
- Oversee the loyalty program to incentivize repeat purchases and long-term engagement
- Manage the Tapcart app to enhance the mobile shopping experience and drive customer retention
- Collaborate with the content team to create engaging and relevant content for retention marketing initiatives
- Utilize data analytics to track and report on retention metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
- Oversee customer feedback programs and analyze feedback to identify areas for improvement
- Work closely with customer service to address and resolve customer issues promptly and effectively
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and best practices in retention marketing
- Develop and manage a calendar of retention marketing activities and ensure timely execution
- Lead the overall retention strategy for the company, ensuring alignment with broader business goals
- Develop long-term plans to improve customer loyalty and reduce churn
- Create and implement innovative retention programs that leverage new technologies and platforms
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to support retention initiatives
Location and Work Environment:
- Hybrid work model: 2 days in-office per week, remaining days remote
Initial Engagement:
To ensure the best fit for both the candidate and Alabaster Co, this role will start as a part-time position for the first three months. This trial period will allow us to mutually assess the fit and performance before transitioning to a full-time role. We value making thoughtful and deliberate hiring decisions, especially as a small team.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in retention marketing or a related field
- Strong proficiency in email marketing platforms, SMS marketing tools, and CRM systems
- Experience with loyalty programs and mobile app management (Tapcart preferred)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
