About This Role
The Marketing Strategist is a key role within Stitch's Delivery team, responsible for providing strategic guidance and support to our clients in developing and executing highly effective lifecycle marketing programs. In this role, you will work closely with our clients to understand and help define their business objectives, customer segments, and marketing goals to develop comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategies and campaigns.
You will be responsible for analyzing customer data, identifying opportunities, designing customer journeys, and defining the targeted messaging and automation tactics to maximize customer engagement and drive business outcomes. You will collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Strategists, and Technical Producers at Stitch to help clients implement and optimize their lifecycle marketing programs by providing strategic guidance, best practices, and ongoing performance analysis and recommendations.
The ideal candidate is a data-driven marketer with a deep understanding of lifecycle marketing principles and experience developing and executing successful lifecycle marketing strategies. You should be analytical, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a deadline-driven, collaborative environment.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives, customer segments, and marketing goals to develop comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategies and campaigns
- Analyze customer data to identify opportunities for optimizing customer engagement, retention, and revenue
- Work to fully adopt and leverage our clients' technologies and integrations (Movable Ink, etc.) in campaigns as appropriate
- Design customer journeys, including defining the touchpoints, messaging, and automation tactics to deliver personalized and targeted experiences
- Create detailed documentation of customer journeys
- Help define key performance indicators (KPI's) to measure campaign success
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to implement lifecycle marketing programs using Braze-focused solutions
- Monitor and analyze the performance of lifecycle marketing programs, providing ongoing recommendations and optimizations to drive business outcomes
- Embrace and implement multi-variant testing as a core strategy to meticulously measure and refine campaign elements across platforms, ensuring the delivery of the most effective messaging and design choices based on data-driven decisions
- Work in tandem with Business Strategists and Solution Architects to exploit the intricacies of specific platforms, integrating superior brand positioning with exceptional technical execution
- Build trust by completing commitments within required timeframes and bringing additional insight and recommendations to every scenario
- Effectively manage your time to achieve quarterly billable targets and balance 3-5 projects at once
- Do your part to help Stitch achieve its quarterly and yearly objectives
- Occasionally travel, up to 20%, to client sites to actively participate in strategic discussions with a high level of engagement
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in Braze and its technology integration partners, as well as other relevant technologies in the marketing technology space by earning your Braze certifications
Requirements
- 3+ years combined experience in marketing technology strategy and copywriting
- Experience developing and executing successful lifecycle marketing strategies
- Experience with business intelligence tools and analytic platforms
- Proficiency in marketing automation platforms such as Braze
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Experience and confidence in leading meetings with all levels of marketing organizations, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and strategies
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Ability to travel up to 20% to client sites
