Mariano Events is looking for an Marketing Coordinator to join our team in our Rochester, NY. This is a full time W2 position. We foster a hybrid environment 3 days in the office, and 2 days working from home. Candidate must reside in Rochester, NY and go into office on weekly basis.
Responsibilities:
- Support internal team with execution and management of nationwide marketing programs;
- Assist with management tracking of local marketing tests, campaigns and specials projects;
- Work with internal team on local marketing initiatives including creative process and assets;
- Coordinate marketing project status and update project management Smartsheets on a weekly basis;
- Work with operation to manage demo kits and shipment of marketing and merchandising materials;
- Assist with marketing presentation preparation and development;
- Coordinate with internal team to prepare promotional planning guides for domestic and international regions;
- Assist team with campaign analysis and reporting;
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent;
- 1+ years of experience with an emphasis in field marketing, events, and/or CPG experience a plus;
- 1-3+ years of experience coordinating and managing events and/or hosted events; working with a B2B sales team;
- Experience with or a willingness and ability to quickly learn new technology such as Monday.com, LinkedIn and Microsoft Teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- An organized approach to daily planning and task management;
- Experience working with third party vendors, requesting bids and negotiating prices;
- A positive, upbeat and solution-oriented demeanor;
- Ability to work in a cross-functional environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities;
- Problem solving and resourcefulness;
- Ability to be polite yet persistent in order to keep complex projects on track with internal and external stakeholders;
