About This Role
As a Business Strategist at Stitch, you'll be at the forefront of driving success for our clients' initiatives. You'll work closely with project teams to seamlessly integrate Braze and its technology partners into clients' martech stacks. Your role will be to understand client needs inside out, translate them into actionable plans, and champion their marketing goals throughout the journey. You'll play a crucial role in defining project scope by gathering and documenting business, functional, and technical requirements; and aligning client objectives with system features and functions.
This person will work with our client located on the West Coast. Because of that, we are seeking candidates who reside in states located in Mountain Time and Pacific Time zones.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the key connection between internal Stitch teams and the client, taking ownership of gathering and understanding customer requirements
- Develop a deep understanding of clients' businesses, including their objectives, pain points, growth opportunities, and success metrics
- Provide expert recommendations to optimize clients' utilization of Braze and its technology partners within their tech stacks
- Transform project objectives into comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resourcing
- Lead project planning and execution, ensuring effective communication, documentation, and meticulous planning
- Act as the advocate for clients' marketing needs and goals within the organization
- Track resource usage to ensure adherence to timelines and project budgets; compile weekly status reports to keep projects on track and teams aligned
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure that functional requirements are met and technical solutions align with client objectives
- Conduct audience targeting assessments and make recommendations for enhancing audience segmentation to drive results
- Analyze clients' marketing automation strategies to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancements
- Contribute to and organize a backlog of work in addition to recommendations for future work and further enhancements
- Drive advancements in clients' marketing maturity curve through automation, testing, and personalization initiatives
- Facilitate client communications, arrange on-site visits, and deliver compelling presentations to illustrate the value of our solutions
- Skillfully manage your time, meticulously tracking hours worked and submitting timesheets promptly to ensure precision in billing and alignment with project timelines
- Strive to meet quarterly billable targets with diligence, harmonizing client project commitments with internal initiatives and professional development endeavors
- Be instrumental in driving Stitch's yearly company goals forward
- Contribute to thought leadership efforts by sharing knowledge, insights, and best practices within the Stitch team and martech industry
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in marketing technology and customer engagement implementations, preferably with a focus on Braze or similar platforms
- 2 or more Braze Certifications, including the Braze Marketer certification, or the ability to quickly obtain them after starting the role
- Solid understanding of marketing automation
- Demonstrated experience and confidence in leading meetings with various levels of marketing organizations
- Proven track record of successfully leading project teams through all phases of the project lifecycle
- Experience with standard and hybrid project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid
- Ability to travel up to 20% to client sites
- Enthusiastic and curious mindset, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into simple, actionable insights
- Must be eligible to work in the United States or Canada without visa sponsorship now or in the future
