About The Opportunity
Michael Malul is seeking a Social Media & Influencer Manager to support the strategy and execution of social media and influencer relations. This role will report to the Director of Marketing and will be a key partner to the broader marketing, creative, and sales teams to drive engaging social media strategy, community management, and creator partnerships that help increase awareness and revenue. This person should thrive in environments with high cross-functional collaboration and be comfortable working in a fast paced company.
Responsibilities
- Management of Instagram/Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn
- Develop social media strategies for each platform and continuously work to refresh it as trends, algorithms, and platforms evolve
- Create engaging content that shows the brand’s personality and shows a behind-the-scenes look at the business
- Collaborate with creative team on the development of photos, videos, and graphics for social media channels
- Oversee community management from engaging with comments and messages to interacting with influencer content
- Schedule content and ensure that messaging and campaigns are consistent across all channels
- Collaborate with marketing team to ensure campaigns are executed in the best way possible across social media channels and through influencer partnerships
- Develope influencer campaigns that fit into larger marketing initiatives, product launches, and holidays
- Build strong relationships with influencers through email and video communication as their main point of contact
- Research and identify new and relevant influencers at macro and micro levels in fragrance, beauty, grooming, fashion, and lifestyle, as well as opportunities to collaborate with influencers outside of the industry in creative ways
- Develop creative briefs for influencers to ensure content is on brand and relevant to campaigns and products
- Track influencer content and organize for easy access by sales and marketing teams
- Negotiation of influencer contracts
- Report on results of influencer campaigns and social media performance on a monthly basis
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in influencer marketing and social media management
- Experience in beauty and/or fashion preferred
- A deep understanding of the influencer market and social media/pop culture trends
- Ability to manage budgets
- Experience developing influencer programs and social media strategies across multiple platforms
- Excellent written communication
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
