Summary of the Role and Responsibilities:
The Director of Marketing Operations will coordinate and develop marketing policies, programs, and campaigns for all of VIVÂMEE entities. This role is a hands-on role and oversees all social media platforms. As a member of Renault’s senior leadership team, the Director of Marketing Operations will lead all aspects of marketing, including but not limited to, leading our company's marketing efforts, responsible for providing guidance to our marketing department by evaluating and developing marketing strategies, planning and coordinating marketing efforts, communicating the marketing plans to those involved, and building awareness and positioning for our company's brands. You will also be working closely with our sales department to develop a pricing strategy that will help us maximize profits and market share, team member hiring, training, mentoring, and termination. In addition, the Marketing Director will be relied upon to model our core value of servant leadership and to teach the VIV MEE Virtues of Joy, Humility, and Ministry. This role will have a prominent leadership role within Renault and will have opportunities to participate in training at other VIV MEE properties as required.
Responsibilities:
- Promote and portray our VIVÂMEE Values.
- Developing and executing marketing strategies that align with our brand's vision and drive business growth and revenue
- Leading a team of marketing professionals to implement marketing campaigns across multiple channels
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with overall business objectives and brand vision
- Conducting market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends
- Developing and managing the marketing budget to ensure ROI and cost-effectiveness
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
- Overseeing marketing department.
- Evaluating and developing our marketing strategy and marketing plan, Analyzes target market information to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches.
- Planning, directing, and coordinating marketing efforts.
- Communicating the marketing plan.

- Working with the sales department to develop pricing strategies to maximize profits and market share while balancing customer satisfaction.
- Identifying potential customers.

- Compiling lists describing our offerings.
- Developing and managing advertising campaigns.
- Building brand awareness and positioning.
- Supporting sales and lead generation efforts.
- Coordinating marketing projects from start to finish.
- Organizing company conferences, trade shows, and major events.
- Overseeing social media marketing strategy and content marketing.
- Gathers and analyzes information to identify new markets and customers, demand for products and services, and efficacy of existing marketing campaigns and strategies.
- Conducts market research, sales forecasting, and strategic planning to assess and ensure the sale and profitability of products.
- Conducts pricing research and analysis to ensure competitive product and service pricing.
- Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in the market; identifies needs for new products and services and makes recommendations to leadership.
- Analyzes and evaluates financial aspects of product development.
- Collaborates in the development of new products.
- Composes, develops, evaluates, and conducts training on marketing activities, strategies, and policies.
- Collaborates, participates in, and coordinates promotional activities or trade shows, Collaborates with senior executives to develop growth plans for the organization.
- Negotiates contracts for services needed to execute a marketing strategy.
- Assists with website design and content.
- Oversees marketing initiatives for multiple properties.
- Travel when needed.
- Assisting in other areas of the resort or other departments when needed.
Leadership & Mentorship:
- Provide superior leadership, team building and mentoring to the marketing team.
- Facilitate a safe work environment.
- Create, implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the marketing department.
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains supervisory and management staff in the department.
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees and in accordance with company policy.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
- Experience in marketing and running a marketing team.
- Experience focused on the Resort style business units, wedding and events, restaurants, rooms, golf
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
