Responsibilities
- Manage the development and production of responses to project advertisements (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, LOIs etc.) in a deadline-intensive, fast-paced environment
- Assume responsibility for proposal production and coordination as assigned
- Establish and manage proposal schedules and compliance checklists
- Work with leadership and technical SMEs to craft targeted messaging, win themes and differentiators
- Coordinate with subcontractors and other teaming partners
- Develop and maintain regional proposal resources, including resumes and project descriptions
- Frequently monitor websites for the advertisement of new solicitations
- Upkeep and submission of prequalification packages
- Provide expert quality control checks for other Marketing Coordinators, providing style and grammar edits, verifying data, and ensuring compliance
- Support client management programs, industry involvement, and other business development efforts as needed
- Maintain company database (VantagePoint) opportunities, clients, and contacts
Requirements
- Experience with FDOT procurement and pre-qualification processes
- Strong writing and editing skills and ability to complete work assignments independently
- Highly organized, analytical, deadline-driven, and demonstrates exceptional follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject (English, marketing, communications, technical editing, writing, or similar degree) preferred
- Five+ years of proposal development experience in the A/E/C industry (preferred)
- Highly proficient using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus
