We are actively seeking an accomplished
Marketing Manager to take on a leadership role within our team. The position blends hands-on contributions with team management responsibilities, making it a player-coach role. As the Marketing Manager, you will continue to develop and optimize social media posts for our investment broker teams while also serving as the escalation point for our team members.
In this pivotal role, you will interface directly with commercial real estate agents and partners across the firm, playing a vital part in producing content that aligns with our company's brand standards. Your objective is to enhance our agents' social media presence and spearhead the launch of company-supported social media, setting a new standard in our marketing endeavors.
Working under the guidance of the Director of Field Marketing, you will operate within our Marketing Department and assume leadership of a team responsible for the onboarding and management of agent social media support.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Serve as the team lead, providing guidance and mentorship to junior Marketing Specialists. Encourage skill development and growth.
- Program Operations: Create and sustain a workflow for system integration across internal systems and third-party platforms guaranteeing the efficient completion of tasks and meeting deadlines. Monitor Marketing Specialists to ensure their adherence to established process and timelines.
- Social Post Creation and Management: Utilizing a template platform, create social media posts for key transactional milestones, and post to agent social media pages. Oversee a team of Specialists in creating and maintaining social media posts.
- Template Management: Maintain updated catalog of templates, track usage and refresh based on input as needed.
- Content Development: Identify other social media content opportunities for compelling and brand-aligned content that resonates with our agents and amplifies their online presence. Oversee the content developed by the Marketing Specialists.
- Approval Management: Ensure that all posts meet our brand's guidelines by obtaining necessary approvals. Manage Marketing Specialists in the approval process for the sites they are responsible for.
- Agent/Partner Relationship Leadership: Serve as the primary point of contact for agents and partners, consistently addressing their marketing needs with professionalism and excellence. Ensure that Marketing Specialists deliver exceptional customer service and effectively resolve any issues that may arise.
- Reporting and Tracking: Monitor and track key social media metrics on individual posts, and across agent pages. Lead a team of Marketing Specialists to monitor website analytics to assess the effectiveness of content and user engagement. Confirm that Marketing Specialists are compiling relevant reports.
Professional Experience / Qualifications
- 3 – 5 years of experience in Social Media Marketing, Marketing Communications, or a related field preferred.
- 1 – 2 years of experience in managing and leading a team.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to create compelling and error-free content.
- Exceptional customer service skills, ensuring the highest level of agent satisfaction.
- Basic photo editing skills for resizing and optimizing images.
- Demonstrated experience in using task management systems such as Asana or Jira in a professional setting.
- Technical proficiency to navigate digital platforms effectively.
- Adaptable and capable of balancing leadership and hands-on responsibilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a process-improvement mindset.
- Must have or will be expected to become knowledgeable about the general Commercial Real Estate industry, including terminology.
