As the Central Marketing Planning Director, you are a key member of the global marketing team and will be driving Global Marketing Planning. Based on the business goals and priorities, you'll lead customer understanding (customer segmentation, persona definition, needs, opportunities, barriers), define our Job-to-be-done, KPIs and message for the different customer personas, identify what are the appropriate channels (media, PR, CRM, social media, etc.) and develop our Growth and Marketing initiatives.
The Global Marketing Planning Director will work closely with our Local Marketing Leads to localize the Global Marketing Plan and ensure its execution with the highest standards of operational excellence.
This role will also work closely with our Strategy team to translate our mission and business strategy into a winning Marketing Plan and derive it to campaigns and initiatives that will help Channel Factory build awareness, thought leadership, drive valuable leads, and ultimately impact our business growth and sales. You'll also work closely with our Product and Solutions teams to develop marketing materials and campaigns that promote our differentials to the industry.
You will lead global marketing initiatives planning and execution, and work in a close collaboration with our local marketing leads (US, EMEA, Asia, ANZ, South America) to guarantee the localization of the Global Marketing Plan to each market and strategic support to their local specific needs, campaigns and initiatives.
Your job also comprises a close collaboration with our sales and marketing sales teams across the world to provide them market and business intelligence that will help Channel Factory to be in the forefront of the industry and deliver our business growth targets.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with the global Marketing Leadership, Strategy, and our local Managing Directors to develop and execute clear and dynamic go-to-market and growth strategies that will boost our brand awareness, and thought leadership and drive valuable leads
- Customer understanding through different methods to evolve our customer segmentation and personas will lead us to define clear Jobs To Be Done and KPIs
- Translate our Business Strategy into a clear and compelling Marketing Plan and the campaigns and initiatives that will bring it to life
- Lead and inspire our local marketing teams to bring our global marketing plan to life on a local level with the highest standards of operational excellence
- Support our local marketing teams to develop campaigns and initiatives that will deliver their local needs to complement the global marketing efforts deployed in their markets
- Work with all local (EMEA, Asia, ANZ, South America) MDs and key stakeholders to understand their local needs and nuances to develop marketing solutions that are relevant to deliver their business growth needs
- Lead and be the guardian of our brand
- Conduct market research and deep dives through different methods that will help us to understand trends, opportunities, and threats in the industry, customers, customer satisfaction, partners, and competitors
- Define clear KPIs for our marketing campaigns and initiatives and track the results and impact in our business
- Build processes that will streamline campaign delivery, measurement, reporting, and effectiveness
- Provide insights that support our Product team to evolve our solutions and develop new products that can help Channel Factory's growth
- Identify and qualify potential customers and partners within the target market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners
- Work closely with our global and local sales marketing leads to conduct product demonstrations and presentations, tailoring them to the needs of local audiences and ensuring alignment with our positioning and value proposition
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities
- Promote Channel Factory's value to clients and the broader marketplace
- Work with marketing/research to infuse sales enablement tools with data on their industry, vertical, and company
- Help tell the story of Channel Factory's programs after they've run to incentivize clients to return
Requirements
- Client-side experience in Growth, Marketing and/or Digital Marketing is highly desirable
- B2B marketing background is helpful but not required
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and think like a client - what do they want? What is clear/unclear? What will they be compelling to buy from us that addresses their business needs?
- Ability to push projects forward working cross functionally in scenarios in which there are many people involved. Run point as main POC
- Ability to work with and guide the design team on what you need from them. You also need to be able to work well in PPT/Google Suite and put together a proposal without the input in design whenever needed
- Ability to formulate ideas and support them confidently, while collaborating with senior team members
- Deep understanding of technologies and tools that can help us to be more efficient
- Business mindset, with strong analytical skills
- Think innovatively and outside the box, seeking new approaches and solutions in a dynamic environment
