About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Marketing & Communications to lead an integrated strategic marketing strategy that aligns with the organization's growth objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the marketing strategy and direction for all the company's offerings, with a focus on lead acquisition, client engagement, and growing market awareness. This role requires in-depth knowledge and expertise in digital marketing, particularly in B2B and conference marketing spaces, and a commitment to staying abreast of current marketing trends to innovate and continuously learn. The VP will also be tasked with creating and executing a positioning and messaging strategy that positions the company as a thought leader in the gender equity and inclusive leader space. Applicants must have at least 15 years of leadership experience in a marketing and/or growth-focused role, with a proven track record of leading a team to achieve aggressive growth goals. The role demands outstanding communication skills, a high level of emotional intelligence, and the ability to influence and build consensus. The ideal candidate will have a growth mindset, be proactive, and demonstrate strong planning and organizational skills. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required, and the candidate should be proficient in a range of digital tools and platforms. The VP will be expected to manage a small, purpose-driven team, and experience in managing both in-house and agency teams is essential.
