The Refind Closet, founded in 2019 by Jeannine Christofilis, is one of the top designer resale stores in the country.
We take pride in our collection of women's designer handbags, ready-to-wear, and accessories, carefully curated from some of the most coveted closets across the country. Though we have a physical location in Seattle, Washington, we are known for our unique Live Shows (currently streaming 6 days per week) with an audience from around the world. We are at another pivotal growth stage and therefore seeking several additional team members; Marketing Director and Sales Manager.
Director of Marketing
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic omnichannel Director of Marketing with a passion for driving sales first and foremost. The Director of Marketing will report directly to the CEO and manage a small team of marketers and content creators. Innovation, passion and organization are paramount to succeeding in this position. The priority for this role is to grow the customer adoption rate as well as retain the high re-engagement rate of the existing customer base. This position requires a background in social media strategy and management across all platforms, including a background in partnerships, growth marketing (SEO), advertising and Email/SMS marketing. The Refind Closet is just as much a digital media company as a sales organization so the Director of Marketing will be responsible for a large portion of the company’s growth through spearheading campaigns in all facets of marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Brand Leadership: Develop and execute the brand strategy, marketing calendars, and marketing campaigns.
- Product Marketing: Lead product positioning and briefing for all inventory, new and existing, to drive sales and gain new consignors.
- Content: Manage a team of creators, guiding them on all content creation including stories, live shows, in-feed, email, SMS, and paid ads.
- Community Building: Maintain and increase our current Refinder community.
- Team Management: Manage and scale a small team, develop KPI’s, conduct performance reviews and weekly team meetings fostering a culture of growth and development.
- Social Media Management: Run all social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, WhatNot, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Budgeting: Responsible for annual planning, execution of marketing programs, return on marketing programs, and budgets across the funnel (CAC).
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 8 years of experience in a retail setting, ideally with luxury brands
- Minimum of 3+ years experience in a management position
- A proven track record of delivering successful marketing campaigns
- Successful track record creating innovative strategies that boost brand awareness; including experience crafting persuasive copy
