The Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of marketing programs to increase membership, membership engagement, and legislative advocacy. This position also supports implementation of event programming, talent marketing and other communication programs.
Successful Candidates Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or marketing.
- Five years’ experience in related field. Publishing background preferred.
- Superior editorial skills and ability to write in journalistic style. AP style preferred.
- Ability to effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously and with a wide variety of people.
- Demonstrated experience proactively identifying, developing, and executing strategic marketing plans.
- Must be a self-starter with strong project and time management skills. Must be able to effectively multi-task.
- Position requires ability to lift and carry 25-35 pounds and may require standing for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing and able to travel independently as required.
- Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule.
