Hotel June West L.A. is seeking a dynamic Creative Marketing Manager to join the team at our ideally-located 250-room reimagined property featuring two restaurants, creative event venues and a spectacular pool deck. Hotel June is the flagship of a new thoughtful, accessible lifestyle brand from Proper Hotels.
Job Overview
The Creative Marketing Manager will report directly to the General Manager with a dotted line to the Vice President of Brand, and assists in building the brand through values and culture, shaping the program, direction, defining all elements of the brand experience and ensuring consistency/brand integrity across all guest touch points.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Brand Operations: Assist in maintaining brand consistency and respect of style guidelines set up throughout the property; ensure hotel and all operational departments comply with brand standards & activations
- Marketing Operations: Facilitate and deploy strategies that support the operations teams on all marketing aspects, assist in collateral creation, marketing channels update and accuracy
- Public Relations (PR): Facilitate and lead PR execution, supporting logistics, and coordinating with property colleagues
- Social media: Facilitate and lead community management and content creation for the hotel, F&B outlets, and spa
- Partnership & Programming: Make positive connections with partners, initiate creative partnership ideas for the hotel, F&B outlets, and spa; provide logistical support for partnerships, weekly activations, monthly collaborations & pop-up
- Content Creation: Assist in creating social media assets & promotional materials, and provide logistical support for photoshoots
Required Skills & Abilities
- Proven experience successfully leading and executing creative campaigns and experience with internal communications, business transformation, change management a plus
- Previous Food & Beverage Operations experience a plus; must be hands-on with F&B ops at it relates to promotions and activations, i.e. both setup and execution
- Leadership and communication skills to effectively work cross-functionally
- Ability to adjust schedules as needed based on hotel needs
- Notions in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, inDesign and Acrobat
- Experience working with and leveraging Digital Asset Management tools for creative development and project management software
- Highly effective communicator
- Knowledge of cultural landscape
- Familiarity and passion for hospitality, art and design
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to handle multiple priorities
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Education & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Events, Social Media, Non-Traditional Marketing, Public Relations
