ABOUT THE ROLE
The Social Media Marketing Specialist will play an integral role in developing and executing the social media and influencer marketing strategies for the hydration division of Lifetime Brands, including S’well (@SwellBottle) and BUILT (@BuiltNY) brands. You will be responsible for leading brand social strategies, planning and creating engaging content, and executing thoughtful influencer marketing campaigns that align with our target audience. This role will work cross-functionally with stakeholders across our digital and creative teams to develop social storytelling that drives awareness, engagement, and brand growth, ensuring we stay top-of-mind with consumers. The ideal candidate is a creative, out-of-the-box thinker who is highly organized, self-motivated, and social media obsessed.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
This role will work across both the S’well and BUILT brands, with S’well being your primary focus.
- Social Media Strategy: Lead and execute social media strategies across branded channels (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) for S’well and BUILT brands including calendar planning, scheduling, and content strategy. Develop tactics to increase follower count, reach, and engagement across social platforms.
- Content Creation: Plan, shoot, and edit social content (including photography, graphic design, and short-form video) that aligns with brand voice and resonates with target audience. Stay up to date on trending cultural topics, identifying and creating relevant content our audiences will love.
- Influencer Marketing: Identify, evaluate, and manage influencer and brand ambassador partnerships. Execute paid influencer marketing campaigns in coordination with product launches and master brand calendar. Lead organic influencer gifting efforts.
- Community Management: Monitor and engage with audience comments, messages, and inquiries. Foster positive relationships with S’well and BUILT social communities.
- Analysis and Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of social media and influencer marketing efforts, identifying areas of opportunity to optimize our approach.
- Trend Monitoring: Act as the resident expert on all things social and influencer, including best practices, trending topics, emerging platforms, and competitive analysis. Implement innovative strategies to stay ahead in the fast-paced social media landscape.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of professional social media management and content creation experience, preferably at a DTC, fashion, or lifestyle brand
- Experience managing influencer relationships and end-to-end influencer campaigns
- Proficiency in creating and editing video and photo content through programs/apps like Adobe Photoshop, CapCut, and Canva
- Portfolio of previous work demonstrating your ability to create lo-fi and social-first content
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Detail-oriented and strong communication skills, with experience writing social copy and adapting brand voice across channels
- A love for social media and deep understanding of trends, culture, and influencers
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
This role is NYC-based with the expectation to work 1-2 days/week in Chelsea, NYC office.
Salary Range: $60,000-$75,000
