Position Overview
The Senior Marketing Manager will help lead the overall brand and product strategy for Allies of Skin product collection. This person is responsible for driving product marketing plans and executing go-to-market plans for new and core products. Must be able to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and work collaboratively with creative, product development, PR/influencer, partnerships, sales, education, social, demand planning, etc, all while managing top management requests and the day-to-day business needs. This role will report to the VP of Marketing and requires someone who is creative, analytical, and a strong self-starter who can take initiative with little direction. Must have beauty experience.

You'll Do
- Work with the Vice President to help build a global marketing strategy by leading development of compelling and unique campaign concepts that fit within brand positioning, leveraging consumer insights, understanding gaps in the market, and leveraging cultural moments
- Define the 360° go-to-market, activation concept & the list of assets needing VP approval
- Own and drive end-to-end development of impactful storytelling campaigns, from strategic ideation to content/asset creation for all product launches, collaborations, promotional moments, and brand storytelling
- Organize the kick-off bootcamp with agencies / own the briefing and alignment of all team
- Orchestrate the development of the 360 content: online, offline, advocacy, education & retail; ensure the development of an integrated and impactful campaign
- Brief and manage agencies to ensure content fits both project vision and objectives
- Be the expert/liaison for internal teams ensuring cross-functional teams have all the appropriate info and support to activate in their respective channels (i.e. creative, consumer marketing, social, PR/influencer, PD, education, retail marketing, sales, etc).
- Drive consistency and relevancy across all touchpoints, aligned with the strategy & brand priorities, and ensure 360 ROI
- Keep updated on the latest communication trends to optimise the content of the category constantly
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to communicate global messaging, calendar updates, and product positioning to ensure a cohesive brand and product approach
- Be able to clearly and concisely brief copywriters and creative team members on desired content to support core and new product launches
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
- Manage 360 execution of merchandising, digital asset management & retailer PDP responsibilities – must have Sephora.com experience
- Actively stay updated on industry trends and cultural shifts, competitors' activities, and be the operational marketing expert through ongoing analysis, and knowledge of category dynamics and competition
- Budget management including Monitor that 360 campaigns meet the yearly allocated budget, with the collaboration of the Finance team
You are
- Minimum 7+ years of experience required in the Beauty industry and must have experience in skincare category (required)
- Must have Sephora experience
- Must be a self-starter with the ambition to learn more and willing to think outside of the box
- Must have a strong understanding of brand touchpoints and levers (i.e. trends, consumer behavior, claims testing, agency management, influencers, PR, Social media, etc)
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Strong technical skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong strategic thinker, action and results-oriented
- Must be a strong collaborative, team player who can take initiative
- Ability to foster teamwork at all levels of the organization
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple projects with varying launch dates simultaneously, all while meeting project deadlines on time
- Ability to clearly articulate and present strategies, recommendations, and results
- Strong attention to detail balanced with the ability to see the big picture and think strategically
