Role Description
We’re on the lookout for a dynamic marketing leader with expertise in driving growth for consumer brands, especially in the CPG and wine & spirits space. You’ll lead the charge in shaping and executing our growth strategy, focused on expanding our customer base while enhancing our strong customer loyalty. Reporting to the executive team, you’ll be responsible for developing and overseeing marketing initiatives that balance creativity with data-driven results. You’ll also lead a small, talented team with the potential for growth as we expand our brand footprint.
What You'll Do:
- Customer and Brand Growth: Develop strategies to acquire new customers and expand our brand. Increase repeat purchases, identifying the most effective channels and approaches within our budget and resources.
- Product Launch & Messaging: Collaborate with the leadership and brand teams to manage end-to-end product and market launches, crafting engaging messaging that resonates with our sophisticated audience.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor the effectiveness of marketing efforts across all channels—website, email, paid ads, and organic traffic—tweaking strategies to improve conversion and performance.
- Own Key Metrics: Take charge of core marketing metrics like customer acquisition cost (CAC), return on ad spend (ROAS), repeat purchase rate, average order value (AOV), and customer lifetime value (CLV), ensuring continuous improvement and growth.
- Event Planning & Activations: Identify and plan for the best events, partnerships, and market activations that align with our brand's vision. You'll seek out opportunities to build brand awareness and create unforgettable experiences that resonate with our target audience.
- Strategic Leadership: Serve as a key partner to the leadership team, providing insights and direction to fuel the company’s growth objectives. Your expertise will help drive decisions that align with our brand’s vision and business goals.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with teams across product development, finance, and engineering to ensure marketing strategies align seamlessly with broader company objectives.

Qualifications
Experience: At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in growth marketing, loyalty marketing, or a similar field, with a proven ability to drive revenue growth and boost sales in consumer-focused businesses.
Track Record: Demonstrated success in leading growth initiatives for companies with $1M+ in revenue.
Platform Savvy: In-depth knowledge and usage of emerging platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and others—particularly in organic marketing. You’re not just focused on paid advertising but have a deep understanding of how to grow organically.
Leadership & Collaboration: Strong leadership and vendor management skills, working effectively with the leadership team, your direct reports, and external partners to execute on our vision.
Financial Acumen: You’re comfortable managing marketing budgets, understanding the financial impact of campaigns, and partnering with finance on pricing, margins, and sales forecasts.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient with marketing tools and platforms. You can leverage data and analytics to refine strategies.
Innovative & Adaptable: You aren’t afraid to test new strategies and quickly pivot if they’re not delivering results.
Collaborative & Bold: You’re thoughtful, articulate, and confident in sharing ideas while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
