Position: Marketing Coordinator
Social Media:
- Manage and elevate our presence across platforms like Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Develop and implement a content calendar for consistent, timely, and impactful messaging.
- Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions, fostering positive interactions.
- Create engaging content—articles, blog posts, graphics, videos, and infographics—that reflects IDA's expertise and values.
- Collaborate with our Adviser Team, Tax Team and Institutional Retirement Plan Consultant Team to develop educational and informative content on relevant wealth management topics.
- Leverage your graphic design skills to produce visually appealing content that enhances our brand.
- Ensure all content aligns with our brand voice, is accurate, and is up-to-date.
- Monitor social media trends, adapting our strategy to stay relevant and compelling.
- Track key performance metrics and provide regular reports to optimize our social media strategy with data-driven insights.
General Marketing:
- Collaborate with various IDA teams to execute marketing strategies and campaigns, including social media, publications, and website maintenance.
- Assist in maintaining and developing departmental foundations and structures such as libraries, CRMs, and SOPs.
- Support marketing campaigns, initiatives, and the creation of marketing materials.
- Coordinate event logistics and support execution to enhance IDA's brand presence.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media or wealth management marketing, or similar professional experience.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Experience in website management, including content updates, basic HTML/CSS coding, and familiarity with content management systems (CMS) to maintain and enhance our firm's online presence.
- Creative thinker with a knack for generating fresh and engaging content ideas.
- Strong graphic design skills and proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Knowledge of wealth management terminology and an understanding of the industry is a plus.
- This position is based in our Carlsbad office, with a hybrid work option.
