We are looking for a special person to help lead our Digital Marketing/eCommerce team at WX Brands. Reporting to the VP of Global Marketing, the Senior Manager of Digital Media & Performance Marketing plays a key role in the translation of brand strategy to digital execution and requires a combination of analytical thinking, creative perspective, and project management.
The ideal candidate has a strong digital and direct-to-consumer marketing background, a results-driven approach to media buying, and a strong head for data and insights.
Responsibilities
Digital Media/Marketing
- Own Digital Media and Performance Marketing across WX’s portfolio of brands (including Bread & Butter Wines)
- Agency Management – Play a key role in managing relationships with our external media agencies, including day-to-day communication, status meetings, etc.
- Paid Media – Strategize and develop comprehensive media plans across a variety of platforms, including social media, retail media, search, programmatic display, CTV/OTT/OLV, dOOH, etc., outlining target audiences, CPMs, and corresponding target metrics based on campaign goals
- Build campaigns in a variety of platforms including, Meta, Google, Instacart, Drizly, etc
- Provide guidance on and/or execute placing pixels on websites as needed via Google Tag Manager (GTM) and configuring pixel placement for key event tracking
- Research, identify and evaluate target audiences modeling, segmentation strategy and retargeting opportunities across all channels
- Continuously monitor and optimize active campaigns, providing insights, learnings and suggestions to enhance media performance, and ensuring budgets are spent efficiently and are on target
- Email Marketing – Manage end-to-end email campaign creations, production and execution, including the monthly calendar, list segmentation, set-up, testing, execution, reporting and optimization
- Identify new digital trade marketing opportunities through consumer trends, customer segmentation, purchasing analysis, etc.
Websites/eCommerce
- Websites – Maintain brand websites via web publishing software WordPress and Shopify and wine industry-specific e-commerce and fulfillment portal WineDirect
- Website strategy, optimization, and development
- Development and tracking of KPIs to measure lead generation, customer acquisition (CAC), customer lifetime value (LTV), in addition to SEO and SEM metrics.
- Creation and implementation eCommerce technology roadmap
- Support operations where needed to optimize fulfilment and delivery
- Collaborate on pricing and promotional strategies to deliver on e-commerce sales goals
Required Skills
- Experience managing digital marketing initiatives with a deep understanding of:
- Paid Media – SEM, Programmatic Media Buying, Influencer Marketing
- Earned Media – SEO
- Marketing automation platforms (examples Mailchimp, Hubspot, etc)
- Knowledge of best practices for email creative and templates, segmentation, dynamic content, testing methodologies
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
- Experience with analytics and performance dashboards
- Demonstrated success in leading teams (experience in hiring, developing, coaching, and evaluating talent).
- A tech-savvy thinker who has strong expertise in digital media platforms (Google Ads, YouTube, Facebook/Instagram Business Manager, LinkedIn, Google Campaign Manager), analytics tools (Google Analytics))
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing (or related field)
- Digital/e-commerce experience in CPG or similar consumer products industry
- Seasoned pro with 8+ years of digital media experience
- Passion for wine category
