Job Summary
It’s an exciting time to join the Grande Foodservice Marketing team! As the Director – Marketing Foodservice, you’ll lead a dynamic team of marketing professionals in B2B marketing strategies, focused on facilitating the promotion of the iconic Grande brand to our Operators and their customers while leading the advancement and unwavering integrity of Grande’s Trademark. Bring your marketing prowess to the table and join our great marketing team. In this role you will provide cross-functional support to the Marketing/Operator Business Development teams including culinary, insights, new products and the Solutions@Work team (who provide marketing consultation and services to Grande Operators). Oh…and did we mention? Our Operators are some of the finest Independent Pizzerias and Italian restaurants around!
What you need to be considered for the role:
- 4 Year Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field required
- Minimum of ten (10) years of business-to-business marketing and/or sales experience, preferably in the food industry required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of direct supervisory/managerial experience.
- Cross-functional resource planning & prioritization experience.
- Demonstrated success in brand building.
- History of brand plan achievement.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, influencing functions beyond Marketing and Sales.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability and desire to inspire others and build strong relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to champion ideas and garner support and buy-in from others.
- Proficient in marketing fundamentals of positioning, brand strategy, portfolio architecture, communication strategy and activation planning and execution.
- Comprehensive understanding of marketing research methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively and develop strong relationships across the organization, with vendors, and with customers.
- Strong ability to develop teams and individuals to reach their full potential.
Preferred:
- Graduate Degree MBA strongly preferred.
- Prior experience in sales, customer business team, trade development, cheese or pizza industry, and culinary knowledge is a plus.
Bachelors Degree or better in Marketing Masters Degree or better in Business Administration
