Job Description:
Lega Serie A USA is seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Associate to join our team. This multifaceted role will involve managing office operations while driving marketing activations that support commercial partnerships, promote our brand and engage fans across North America. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for soccer, experience in on-site marketing activations, excellent organizational skills, and a proficiency in Italian language.
The role is based at the Lega Serie A USA office in the Chelsea part of Manhattan and at least 4 days (Monday-Thursday) in the office is required. There is some travel and weekend work included in the role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Office Management:
- Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a well-organized and efficient work environment.
- Manage accounts payable, liaise with external accounting consultant, vendor relationships, and facility needs.
2. Marketing Activations:
- Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and promotional events.
- Assist in the development of marketing materials and presentations for stakeholders and partners.
- Support Editorial and Commercial activities with marketing activations
- Develop activation plans with Serie A USA social impact partners
3. Fan Engagement:
- Create and implement strategies to enhance fan engagement and grow the Serie A audience in North America
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and fan feedback to inform marketing initiatives.
4. Club liaison
- Manage the relationship with the 20 Serie A Clubs and support their work in the North American market
- Manage evolving capabilities for the US office to share with Clubs
- Track and report on any Club activities across activations, marketing and content in the US market
- Collaborate with Club fan clubs, Italian government and other entities on behalf of Lega Serie A USA
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, office management, or a related role.
- Experience with on-site marketing activations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Italian strongly preferred.
- Passion for soccer and knowledge of Lega Serie A.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with social media platforms.
