Job Summary:
Up With Paper seeks a self-motivated and talented Social Media Marketing Specialist to lead our creative and sales initiatives across all social channels. This technical role is crucial in driving sales growth via a cross-functional approach. You will collaborate closely with the Creative and Sales teams to orchestrate the entire customer experience from exposure and beyond. This entry-level design studio position in New Haven, CT, reports to the Sales and E-commerce Manager and is an opportunity to prove your talents and grow with the company.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Execute marketing plans for social media channels, including content calendars, posting, and reporting, based on direction from the Sales and E-commerce Manager.
· Manage Key Social Platforms – UWP + UWP Luxe Accounts.
o Instagram/Facebook/LinkedIn
o Pinterest
o Mailchimp
o B2B&B2C Websites
o Tradeshows
o Amazon
· Media Campaigns:
o Create, monitor, optimize, and report on social ads using Meta Ads Manager and other reporting platforms.
o Work with Sales Manager to develop and implement campaigns for E-Blasts, Online Advertising, Social Media Platforms, and Search Engines relevant to our brands.
o Develop and execute programs, such as co-promotions, partnerships, and giveaways, to build company and brand equity.
o Make connections with meaningful and relevant influencers to elevate our brand.
· Content Development:
o Ability to create original content (e.g., visuals, editorial, etc.) for all social media platforms consistent with the UWP/Luxe brand.
o Continually measure, evaluate, and improve the effectiveness of content within specific marketing campaigns.
o Maintain a pulse on competitive activity and like-minded brands' social approach and identify new opportunities for UWP/Luxe to optimize our presence.
· Photography and Graphic Design
o Ability to shoot brand-appropriate images and videos for all platforms paired with Graphic Design, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
o Adobe Creative Suite skills and other relevant video and photo editing software.
o Experience with video production and visual content creation skills, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
· Customer Service: SM
o In charge of 24/7 community management on Instagram and Facebook and timely push sales requests to Customer Service and artist inquiries to Creative.
o Serve as liaison to customer service representatives to ensure timely, positive experiences for customers engaging with the brand on social media.
o Serve as social media risk management lead, accountable for recommending and executing a crisis communications plan if/when issues arise.
· Budgeting
o Manage UWP/Luxe spending against the Sales Manager's social media marketing budget, including boosting and paid promotions.
· Excellent Data Analysis, Reporting, and Optimization:
o Own channel-level performance forecasting and budget planning with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
o Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, such as Meta Ads Manager and other relevant software.
o Set and monitor/measure key performance indicators for social media tactics monthly, implement tracking tools, and possess an analytical ability to extract insight from data for future strategy development.
o Monthly and quarterly reports on all efforts, including recommendations to enhance future success and maximize ROI

· Strong portfolio showcasing industry experience ideating, crafting, and directing strategic advertising.
· Confidence in analyzing data, drawing insights, and developing reports and recaps to incorporate into future planning
· Ability to work closely with the Sales Manager to create the strategy and development of all print ads, e-blasts, social media, and direct mail while maintaining brand identity.
· Ability to Project Manage all workloads to in-house designers and freelancers
· Elevated interest in pop culture, current events, digital trends, influencers, social media platforms, and current events.
· A passion and understanding for company products, which will come through as a representative of Up With Paper across multiple platforms
Education and Experience:
· 2-4 years of experience as a Social media and marketing enthusiast in performance marketing
