THE ROLE
We are looking for an innovative and creative Integrated Marketing Director to join our growing team. You will oversee the Marketing department to lead strategic initiatives for omnichannel marketing across brand, product, social, influencer, PR, digital, retail, media, and experiential. The Integrated Marketing Director will spearhead cohesive and engaging execution of the brand vision, develop and drive holistic 360 marketing programs, create effective content and campaigns for all product launches and seasonal initiatives, and grow and nurture a thriving brand community. This role works collaboratively with various cross-functional partners within the team and external agencies and consultants. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller, seasoned in the beauty space, able to effectively multi-task and problem-solve, who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced work environment. The Integrated Marketing Director position reports to the Global Head of Marketing & Sales with three direct reports and the potential for team expansion.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Bring a creative vision for telling the 'Ôrəbella brand story, building consumer awareness and engagement across a diversity of channels and audiences.
- Refine and evolve as needed the core and secondary target audiences.
- Oversee and lead multi-channel marketing efforts that deliver on brand performance objectives and create an evangelized community.
- Build a robust omni-channel marketing plan and budget that aligns with overall company planning and ensure detailed, consistent tracking of both the marketing plan and budgets.
- Lead the development of 360° brand and product campaigns from end-to-end, including but not limited to: concepting, producing, editing, copywriting, adapting for channels as needed.
- Direct responsibility for all PR, social media (owned plus Bella’s 'Ôrəbella integration), influencer & talent relations, eventing/experiential, and paid media.
- Drive excellence in owned social media channels via data collection, reporting, community building, and highly engaging content across the full social funnel.
- Strong partnership with key cross-functionals to ensure consistency of brand activations and messaging across D2C & CRM (email/SMS) and retailer (Ulta stores/dotcom/social/education + new retail channels as launched).
- Direct responsibility for the brand’s CSR platform ('Ôrəbella Alchemy Foundation), including partner relations, charitable elevation, consumer story-telling, and financial management.
- Support content creation, project management, and approvals process with Bella and her teams; inclusive of detailed weekly agendas & recaps, ad hoc presentations, and direct communication as necessary.
- Devise and implement the brand’s partnerships/collaboration strategy across merchandising & eventing with ethos-aligned companies and relevant third party producers. Lead end-to-end creation of branded merch from concept to production and launch.
- Own detailed omnichannel marketing calendars and presentations, managing timelines and cross-functionals to keep everyone on track and aligned.
- Work closely with the Global Head of Marketing & Sales and Product Development lead to inform long-term decision-making around product launch roadmaps and innovation strategies.
- Steward our brand voice and messaging to ensure a cohesive consumer experience across all marketing touchpoints.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of product price, positioning, competitive landscape, and market needs; provide recommendations as needed.
- Analyzes sales data, industry trends, and competitive research to identify actionable insight.
- Recognize key consumer and cultural insights, applying them to the planning process.
- Stay up to date with competitor programs and marketing channels/platforms, maintaining knowledge of emerging beauty trends.
- Demonstrate thought leadership in the beauty space, providing recommendations to cross-functional teams.
- Conduct post-evaluation and analysis of activities, offering insights for future brand activity improvements.
- Identify new marketing opportunities that can deliver significant revenue growth.

- Key external partners: Ulta Beauty, and agency partners: PR, Digital Media & CRM, Web, Events
- Light travel required, namely NYC/LA
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field
- 8+ years of Marketing experience required
- Based in NYC or LA
- Beauty experience required
- Strong knowledge of beauty trends and competitive market
- Previous start-up experience at a consumer brand preferred
- Confident navigating through fast-paced, competing workstreams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to manage clear, timely, productive and consistent feedback loops with teams
- Strong leadership skills, motivating employees to grow and achieve results
- Comfortable leading numerous agency relationships
- Stellar project management and analytical skills
- Ability to manage detailed budgets including planning, invoicing, actualizing and re-trending
- Exceptional storytelling skills, able to present insights effectively
- Holistic thinking, able to connect the dots across the business
- A track record of achieving maximum impact with limited resources
- Action-oriented, comfortable “rolling up sleeves”, no task is too small or large mentality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, skills in Adobe Creative Suite preferred
