Our client, a customizable lifestyle accessories brand, is looking for a Director/Sr. Director of Marketing to join there team in their team in NYC on a hybrid schedule (4 days in office). This role will work closely with the Creative, Digital, and Events departments to ensure cohesive execution across all marketing initiatives.
Job Duties Include:
- Collaborate to develop and implement comprehensive brand and seasonal marketing strategies
- Partner with digital team to manage and optimize marketing efforts across all channels, focusing on increasing brand visibility, customer acquisition, and retention
- Work with Retail & Events teams to deliver best-in-class retail store events and product launches while supporting and promoting the core product lines
- Manage and allocate the marketing budget, including expenses for photoshoots, influencer campaigns, events, etc.
- Lead social media marketing efforts, staying ahead of trends/emerging platforms, and positioning the brand at the forefront of social media engagement
- Collaborate to refine paid social media strategies, leveraging influencer partnerships and social trends to enhance marketing funnel
- Direct and support the influencer manager to boost brand awareness, engagement, and conversion rates
- Guide the social content strategy and ensure effective channel management
- Foster sponsorship and partnership opportunities to bolster brand event initiatives
- Lead the professional development of the marketing team, providing guidance, setting goals, fostering growth, etc.
- Introduce fresh and innovative ideas to keep the brand evolving and relevant
- Analyze competitive brands for insights and potential innovation opportunities
Job Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, with 3+ years in a senior leadership or managerial role
- Expertise in crafting and executing marketing strategies that drive brand growth, customer acquisition, and revenue generation
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to use data-driven insights to guide decision-making and optimize marketing performance
- A creative, innovative mindset focused on continuous improvement
- Proficient in marketing technology platforms, analytics tools, and digital marketing channels
- Ability to balance attention to detail with a focus on broader business objectives
- Capable of working independently, navigating ambiguity, and meeting deadlines
- Ability to inspire and lead teams
- Detail-oriented and skilled in project management
- Adaptable to evolving market trends and operational demands
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities
Salary: $175k-$185k annually depending on experience
