We specialize in bringing stories to life across various age ranges, from middle-grade to young adult and beyond, with a deep focus on pop culture, entertainment, and engaging storytelling. We’re looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to help drive our growth through strategic advertising and funnel marketing campaigns.
Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Digital Marketing Specialist who is passionate about the pop culture and entertainment industry. This individual should have expertise in creating and managing digital ad campaigns across social media, Google, and Amazon, while also specializing in funnel marketing strategies. Your goal will be to attract new users, retain existing customers, and optimize conversion rates, including recovering abandoned carts. Knowledge of buyer demographics across all age ranges, particularly for graphic novels and comics, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across multiple platforms, including Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Google Ads, and Amazon Ads.
- Funnel Marketing: Develop and manage full-funnel marketing campaigns that guide customers from awareness to purchase, including strategies to re-engage abandoned carts, upsell returning users, and drive customer loyalty.
- Audience Segmentation: Analyze customer behavior and create segmented marketing campaigns based on demographic and psychographic data.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track, measure, and analyze campaign performance across all platforms, delivering regular reports with actionable insights to improve ROI.
- A/B Testing & Optimization: Implement A/B testing across various campaigns, ensuring continuous improvement in ad performance, conversion rates, and user retention.
- Industry Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of pop culture and entertainment to tailor marketing campaigns that resonate with graphic novel and comic book readers across all age groups and demographics.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our Marketing, Sales, and Creative teams to ensure campaigns align with product launches, brand messaging, and audience expectations across all imprints.
- Ad Copy & Creative Direction: Collaborate with content creators to develop ad copy, creatives, and visuals that drive engagement and conversions.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on running paid social media ads, Google Ads, and Amazon Ads.
- Strong understanding of funnel marketing, customer segmentation, and lifecycle marketing.
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end campaigns, from planning to execution and analysis.
- Experience with pop culture and entertainment sectors, ideally within the graphic novel, comic book, or publishing industries.
- Excellent understanding of buyer demographics and customer behaviors across all age ranges.
- Proficient in analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, etc.) and A/B testing strategies.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Passion for storytelling, comics, and graphic novels is a plus.
