About the Team
The Executive Communications team, part of the Global Brand and Communications organizations, works across the Communications team and with cross-functional teams to help humanize the brand and tell meaningful stories that demonstrate impact, with a core focus on supporting TikTok's senior executives and other leaders. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead this team. This role is essential in helping to shape and amplify the voice of TikTok’s leadership across internal and external platforms, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision, mission, and strategic goals. The successful candidate will develop and execute communication strategies that build trust, strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, and enhance TikTok’s reputation globally.
About the Role
The Executive Communications Lead will be responsible for crafting compelling narratives, managing executive visibility, and guiding executive-level communications during critical moments. They will also manage and develop a high-performing Executive Communications team, evolve the company's speaking processes, and oversee the Speakers Bureau.
We're looking for a strong leader who is passionate about the TikTok brand. You have proven experience planning and executing simultaneous projects. You're able to effectively manage through complex decisions and challenges, using sound judgement and expertise to mitigate risk and help ensure the best outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Executive Communications strategy for TikTok’s leadership, ensuring consistent, impactful messaging and alignment to key business objectives
- Work closely with the broader Global Communications team to position TikTok’s executives as thought leaders through narratives that highlight TikTok’s role across key focus areas. Support development of narratives.
- Manage and coordinate leadership and executive participation in high-profile media interviews, public speaking engagements, industry conferences, and major company events. Prepare executives with detailed briefings and messaging guidance.
- Partner with PR teams in local markets to adapt and tailor executive communications for different regions.
- Collaborate with other teams — Policy, Legal, Product, Marketing, B2B, and more — to ensure consistency in messaging and to provide communications support during engagements with key external stakeholders.
- Partner with the Internal Communications team to support executive presence at All-Hands, off-sites and through other communications channels.
- Work closely with Global Communications to ensure alignment on key messaging and communication strategies. Ensure all communications reflect the company’s voice, values, mission and vision.
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $225000 - $285000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
