JOB SUMMARY:
Effectively contribute to the positioning of Mandala Group’s locations through marketing initiatives focused on social media, our online presence, email communications and brand image.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, advertising, branding, design, digital marketing, and social media.
The marketing coordinator must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines. Maintain and exceed company standards to maximize profits and ensure outstanding guest service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Average Percent of Time.
- 35% Manages all social media channels from planning through to execution, developing strategies and creating relevant content together with external collaborators according to brand guidelines: look, feel, tone of voice.
- 15% Maintain and update the website ensuring all content is optimized to meet performance and business objectives.
- 15% Create and update collateral and promotional materials in collaboration with the graphic designer and all relevant departments (HR, Sales, Marketing, R F&B).
- 15% Negotiate agreements and secure long-lasting relations with suppliers such as agencies, printers, material manufacturers and other marketing related partners.
- 10% Work alongside Marketing Manager on PR and partnership actions including events, press trips and media visits.
- 5% Work alongside Marketing Manager on PR and partnership actions including events, press trips and media visits.
- 5% Manage and maintain digital asset library including videos and photos. Measure performance and assist in monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting.
OTHER
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Mandala Group from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, communications or hospitality or relevant work experience and training.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 1-year experience in a marketing role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent spoken and written communications skills in Spanish and English.
- Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and communications.
- Excellent computer skills including Content Management Systems (CMS), social media tools, Microsoft Office, and project management tools such as Monday.
