Manhattan based Michelin-starred hospitality firm seeking experienced Director of Digital Marketing to help them elevate their brand and digital marketing. The ideal candidate will have experience marketing for hospitality, food and beverage, and retail companies and hands on experience with content creation and editing.
$120-150K base + benefits and bonus
Hybrid 4 days onsite, 1 remote in Manhattan
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies across all digital platforms, including websites, email and social media
- Drive branding discussions and partner with stakeholders to create brand and marketing strategies, including successful launch campaigns for new properties
- Develop a comprehensive content creation process and distribution strategy across all business areas
- Oversee comprehensive digital plans and timelines around special campaigns, launches, and announcements
- Serve as the primary liaison with creative agencies, vendors and graphic designers
- Cultivate relationships with key media outlets, organizations, influencers, notable figures and community groups
- Optimize digital content strategies to increase views and engagement across platforms
- Support efforts to shape and maintain the organization’s brand identity
- Ensure consistency across all marketing materials and touchpoints, both internal and external
- Plan, produce, shoot and coordinate internal and external content shoots
- Oversee production of all social content with a specific focus on video
- Build a comprehensive influencer marketing strategy across businesses
- Develop strategies to increase the size and reach of our community across various online platforms
- Maintain an organized record of all visual and audio content for each property for social, website, email, and press use
- Utilize data insights and reporting to tailor marketing and promotional activities
- Stay up-to-date with current media and latest social trends to identify opportunities on social media and stay informed on competitors
- Develop and manage marketing budgets to ensure optimal resource allocation
- Oversee paid advertising opportunities across digital platforms
- Track expenses and manage budget for all marketing initiatives
- Attend events to cover for social media content alongside the team
- Liaise and build strong relationships with external partners and work closely with various internal departments
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 7-10+ years of content strategy and professional writing experience within a B2C environment
- 3+ years' experience in a content leadership position, managing an in-house team and external resources
- Demonstrated success in brand building, both domestically and internationally
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Proven track record in developing effect B2C content and brand campaigns
- Exceptional project management and client service orientation
- Innovative thinker with a pulse on cutting-edge industry trends
- Excellent communicator with outstanding written and verbal skills
