Job Overview:
Flowerz is seeking a versatile and data-driven Digital Marketing & Content Manager to lead our ecommerce efforts, driving online sales and retention. We have had success in our brick + mortar store, located in Capitol Hill, DC; but now we are looking to bolster our ecommerce presence and drive online sales for our direct-to-consumer brand. This role includes overseeing content creation for both web and email campaigns as well as developing strategies to grow our online sales, and overseeing digital ad campaigns as needed. If you’re skilled at crafting content and optimizing ecommerce campaigns to drive sales, this is an exciting opportunity to build out our ecommerce efforts and work in a flourishing startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Content Creation & Management:
- Develop, write, and manage content for the website, email marketing, and digital ads.
- Update product pages, landing pages, and blog posts, ensuring SEO best practices.
- Craft compelling email marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement, subscriptions, and sales.
- Ensure brand consistency across all digital content platforms.
Ecommerce Marketing Strategy:
- Create and execute digital marketing strategies across web and email to increase sales, retention, and customer engagement.
- Track and analyze performance metrics (website traffic, email open rates, conversion rates) and adjust strategies to improve results.
- Collaborate with the team to develop strategies that align with business goals, particularly in increasing direct-to-consumer sales.
- Focus on expanding the subscription program and driving traffic to e-commerce platforms.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in digital marketing and content management.
- Strong writing and editing skills with a focus on engaging, conversion-focused content.
- Experience managing paid ad campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads) and email marketing tools (e.g., Klaviyo).
- Ability to interpret data, optimize campaigns, and report on performance.
- Knowledge of SEO and e-commerce sales strategies.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
