DEJ Companies is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable individual to create and implement innovative social/digital media concepts and strategies that drive meaningful value to sponsor partners, while also elevating the digital profile of DEJ Companies – including JR Motorsports, DEJ Management and The Dale Jr. Foundation. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about social and digital marketing, and media, working closely with the Digital Media Manager, Marketing and Partnership teams to strategize and create content across all ownable platforms operated by DEJ Companies.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Partnership team to create digital marketing campaigns for sponsor partners and internal initiatives
- Conceptualize social media content and campaigns to drive greater relevance, engagement and grow external digital media communities
- Assist and support JR Motorsports’ Digital Media Manager day-to-day social media activities
- Collaborate with Marketing and Partnership teams to ideate content/campaigns for team partners to gain exposure and ensure sponsorship ROI
- Oversee measurement, analytics, and benchmarking programs to measure the effectiveness of the digital media platforms
- Research data, online digital platforms, and communication opportunities to best position the organization as a digital media focal point
- Maintain and gain up-to-date knowledge of digital media trends, technologies, and integrated marketing strategy to ensure continued digital media resourcefulness
- Assist in the capture and development of social content for DEJ Companies as identified
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in digital marketing
- Demonstrated knowledge of digital media platforms and online marketing experience
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Ability to capture content via phone or camera when needed
- Proven track record of creating informed, strategic campaigns and content
- Must possess strategic planning, analytical and research skills
- Ability to think creatively and be a self-starter
- Must be proactive and punctual with strong planning and time management skills
- Excellent communication, creative writing and organizational skills
- Ability to engage and interact with digital media supporters, fans, sponsors and partners
- Ability to work in a team-based environment, fostering positive communication and collaboration amongst a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to travel to some race weekends and be comfortable with extended days/nights
